Massage is a set of operations applied by the masser on the body surface (usually) using their hands and is based on the anatomy and physiology of the human body.
We know that massage was used in Ancient Egypt (Akmanthor tomb), whilst in the Iliad and Odyssey it is mentioned that they used essential oils to relax the warriors’ tired limbs. In the ancient script «The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon» are included 30 chapters with different types of massage therapies.
Althrough massage is known since the ancient times, there are a lot of people who ignore the benefits from a massage session and the fact that it could upgrade their quality of life and lead them to the absolut well-being.
Some of the most important benefits of massage are:
